Creative expression has always been an important aspect of my life. I love experimenting with different media and concepts, finding and expanding my purpose as an artist.
Sacrifices Made for Validation
How can I portray the sacrifices people will make for validation with a variety of media?We all commonly seek validation in different ways, whether it be in our physical appearance, our career, academics, romantic, or social lives. I interviewed close friends and family to understand how seeking validation impacts their lives. From gathering different perspectives, I experimented with different compositions and media until I finally created 12 finished art pieces with various media, surfaces, styles, and themes.
